What this reading explores
Oracle cards vary widely in their structure and imagery. Unlike tarot, they do not all follow the same familiar set of suits and major cards. A deck might center on nature, personal reflection or spiritual themes. The guidebook and the reader’s interpretation can both influence how a card is discussed.
A conversation around your question
An oracle reading can be focused around one question or a few themes. Ask how the deck was chosen and what the card’s imagery contributes to the conversation. This can be an accessible way to begin if you enjoy visual prompts but are unfamiliar with traditional tarot meanings.
Before your reading
Tell Monica if you are interested in a love-focused, nature-inspired or general oracle approach, and confirm which decks are available. You do not need to bring your own deck. Prepare a question that gives you room to reflect rather than asks the cards to guarantee an outcome.
Your questions, answered
Are oracle cards the same as tarot?
No. Oracle decks have different structures and themes, while tarot generally uses a more recognizable system.
Can I choose a theme for the session?
Ask about current deck choices and explain the area you would like to explore.
